So Emily has decided to bring a new friend onto our family. His name is Carlos, and he's a quaker parrot. He makes all these awful noises and tries to bite me. Sure, I do sometimes get a little bit close, but that doesn't mean that he should bite. Anyway, back to me. Since he's arrived, Carlos has been getting all the attention! I hardly get noticed anymore! I guess I know how Ally felt when I came along.
So until Carlos does something else that upsets me, this is my last entry for now.

Well, on the 3rd of January I turned two! I was so happy because I got to unwrap my own present and play with some dogs all day long! Even our neighbors dogs joined in my party! I also loved the block of ice with frozen meat in it! That kept me busy for hours. I got to spend some quality time with Emily and Ally. She took me for a big walk, then we went swimming! I had a dog load of fun! What made my birthday even better was the fact that I got to have it in the country! There were heaps of birds to chase and lizards to look for. I feel the same, but Ally thinks I looks somewhat old. She says that I'm gonna start breaking rules now, and get some nasty habits. Oh well, what is a 14 year old (in dog years mind you) pup supposed to do? At least I've got daily food, water and an endless supply of affection!
I just can't wait for next year!
