Im looking for people who are relocating to Europe from Australia with a pet.
Charter flights allow your pet to fly safely, humanly and onboard with you.
Yes - it is expensive but I am looking for about 15 people who are willing to put their pets wellbeing first. You will need to be date and destination flexible (until we have enough people together) it will cost approx. $10,000 (for one pet and one passenger) for a one way flight (ouch!!) and you will need all the relevant pooch import paperwork etc .....
Cheers Laura.

i've spent a couple of nights now, trying to get some of the old fun stuff back - things like fancy statuses. It was fun putting glitter graphics next to your name.

the latest version of the site doesn't have the full range of language commands as the old site - it's supposed to be faster. so a simple think like displaying html, isn't working.

one of the other things i wanted to do, was to pull out all the "more features" and display them across two rows of headings. however that would stop the dropdown menu from working - eg you'd have to go to the photos page first, before adding a photo, instead of selecting it fom the dropdown. would that be a problem? or is it ok having all the functions under "more features".

any other things that i should be working on?

it's been a busy couple of months, but i should have a bit of time soon.

many woofs,

chris, spike and harry

the companion animals act of 2001 says that no dogs are to be within 10m of food preparation or consumption areas of a restaurant, cafe or kiosk.

in mo
...

the companion animals act of 2001 says that no dogs are to be within 10m of food preparation or consumption areas of a restaurant, cafe or kiosk.

in mosman, the council has not enforced this in the past, but in the last 3 weeks, council has been mailing cafes telling them that they have to comply.

apparently the council had received complaints, so they sent out the letters.

the cafes that have started telling customers of the rule, have been losing customers, as they go elsewhere, or don't go out at all.

the local newspaper has been full of unhappy dog owners, saying that their dogs are well-behaved, and that they never cause a problem.

what do you think?

i have to say that i'm always impressed by the dogs that i see sitting with their owners! i wish spike and harry were that good.

when i only had spike, i still didnt sit at the cafe and drink - i would buy a takeaway coffee, and sit on a bench with him.

when we take spike and harry for a walk down to wharfys, we tie both dogs to the bench, which probably is 10m away, and give them a bone, while we have breakfast.

spike gobbles his up, and then stares at us while we eat. if we take too long, he sometimes starts whining, so we try not to take too long.

harrys a hard case though - he alternates between being a grumpy old man, baring his teeth and growling at other dogs. or else he gets over-excited at everyone getting off the ferry, and doesnt know who to play with. he is such a lunatic.

so its not really peaceful for us - we prefer to do take-away, and walk to the dog park with a coffee.

but i think if a dog is well-behaved, doesnt bark at other dogs or distract people from eating, they should be able to stay with their owners.

as usual, it comes down to responsible pet owners making the right decision as to whether to bring their dog to a cafe.

any other cafe-loving dogs?
